Sagt die App die Zukunft voraus?

Nein. Propheterie ist ein religionshistorisches Archiv. Es zeigt historische Texte und ihre Überlieferung, macht aber keine Vorhersagen und bewertet keine Prophezeiung als wahr oder falsch.

Woher stammen die Texte?

Aus gemeinfreien Erstdrucken und kritischen Editionen. Die Nostradamus-Centurien folgen den Renaissance-Erstdrucken (Bonhomme 1555, Du Rosne 1557, Rigaud 1568), 942 von 944 Quatrains sind gegen Faksimiles verifiziert. Übersetzungen ins Deutsche sind eigene Arbeit.

Brauche ich ein Konto?

Nein. Die App funktioniert vollständig offline und ohne Login.

Was ist die KI-Recherche?

Eine optionale Funktion. Sie benötigt einen eigenen Anthropic-API- Schlüssel, der sicher im iOS-Keychain liegt. Ohne Schlüssel funktioniert die App vollständig, nur ohne den Chat.

Wie zitiere ich eine Stelle wissenschaftlich?

Jede Detail-Ansicht bietet einen Zitations-Export in BibTeX, RIS und Plain-Text, jeweils mit Editions-Stempel.

Wo finde ich die Methodik?

Über das (i)-Symbol oben rechts → „Methodik". Dort: Transkriptions- Prinzipien, Faksimile-Verifikation, Sigla-Verzeichnis, Bibliographie, Stemma der Druckgeschichte.

Frequently asked

Does the app predict the future?

No. Propheterie is a religious-historical archive. It shows historical texts and their transmission, but makes no predictions and judges no prophecy as true or false.

Where do the texts come from?

From public-domain first prints and critical editions. The Nostradamus Centuries follow the Renaissance first prints (Bonhomme 1555, Du Rosne 1557, Rigaud 1568); 942 of 944 quatrains are verified against facsimiles. German translations are original work.

Do I need an account?

No. The app works fully offline and without login.

What is the AI research?

An optional feature. It requires your own Anthropic API key, stored securely in the iOS Keychain. Without a key the app works fully, just without the chat.

How do I cite a passage academically?

Every detail view offers a citation export in BibTeX, RIS, and plain text, each with an edition stamp.

Where is the methodology?

Via the (i) icon top right → "Methodik". There: transcription principles, facsimile verification, sigla reference, bibliography, stemma of the print history.
