Datenschutzerklärung

1 · Verantwortlicher

Verantwortlich für die Datenverarbeitung im Zusammenhang mit der App „Propheterie" ist der im Impressum genannte Diensteanbieter. Die App ist ein Einzelprojekt ohne kommerzielle Datenverarbeitung.

2 · Was die App auf deinem Gerät speichert

Die App speichert ausschließlich lokal auf deinem Gerät, niemals auf einem Server des Anbieters:

• Lesezeichen — welche Stellen du markiert hast (iOS-UserDefaults)
• Zuletzt angesehen — die letzten von dir geöffneten Stellen (iOS-UserDefaults)
• Einstellungen — Onboarding-Status, App-Präferenzen (iOS-UserDefaults)
• Anthropic-API-Schlüssel — falls du die KI-Recherche nutzt, sicher im iOS-Keychain

Diese Daten verlassen dein Gerät nicht und sind nur für dich zugänglich.

3 · Optionale KI-Recherche (Drittanbieter)

Wenn du den „Vertieft recherchieren"-Chat nutzt, sendet die App HTTPS-Anfragen direkt an Anthropic (USA), api.anthropic.com, authentifiziert mit deinem eigenen API-Schlüssel. Übermittelt werden:

• der Kontext der gerade angesehenen Stelle (Titel, Zusammenfassung, Original- und Übertragungstext, Lesarten)
• deine Chat-Fragen

Anthropic erklärt in den API-Geschäftsbedingungen, dass API-Anfragen nicht zum Modell-Training verwendet werden. Details: anthropic.com/legal/privacy. Wenn du den Chat nicht nutzt, findet keine Datenübertragung an Anthropic statt.

4 · Was die App nicht macht

• Kein Tracking. Keine Analytics-, Werbe- oder Tracking-SDKs.
• Keine Datenerhebung über dich. Der Anbieter sieht weder deine Lesezeichen noch deine Chat-Anfragen.
• Keine Cloud-Synchronisation. Alles bleibt lokal.
• Keine Werbung.
• Kein Konto, kein Login.
• Keine Drittanbieter-Schriftarten oder -CDNs. Alle Ressourcen liegen im App-Bundle.

5 · Rechtsgrundlage

Soweit überhaupt eine Verarbeitung stattfindet (lokale Speicherung zur Funktionsbereitstellung), erfolgt sie auf Grundlage von Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Vertragserfüllung / Bereitstellung der angeforderten Funktion). Bei Nutzung der optionalen KI-Recherche erfolgt die Übermittlung an Anthropic auf Grundlage deiner ausdrücklichen Handlung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

6 · Deine Rechte

Du kannst deinen API-Schlüssel jederzeit im Einstellungs-Sheet der App löschen. Durch Deinstallation der App werden alle lokal gespeicherten Daten vollständig entfernt. Da der Anbieter keine personenbezogenen Daten erhebt, laufen Auskunfts-, Berichtigungs- und Löschansprüche gegenüber dem Anbieter faktisch leer; für die bei Anthropic verarbeiteten Daten gelten deren Datenschutzbestimmungen.

7 · Kinder

Die App richtet sich nicht gezielt an Kinder und erhebt keine Daten von Kindern.

8 · Änderungen

Diese Erklärung kann angepasst werden, wenn neue Funktionen weitere Datenflüsse erfordern. Die jeweils aktuelle Version ist mit dem App-Release verknüpft.

1 · Controller

The data controller for the "Propheterie" app is the service provider named in the imprint. The app is an individual project with no commercial data processing.

2 · What the app stores on your device

The app stores data exclusively on your device, never on a provider server:

• Bookmarks — scenes you have marked (iOS UserDefaults)
• Recently viewed — the last scenes you opened (iOS UserDefaults)
• Settings — onboarding status, app preferences (iOS UserDefaults)
• Anthropic API key — if you use AI research, stored securely in the iOS Keychain

This data never leaves your device and is accessible only to you.

3 · Optional AI research (third party)

If you use the "Research in depth" chat, the app sends HTTPS requests directly to Anthropic (USA), api.anthropic.com, authenticated with your own API key. Transmitted are:

• the context of the scene currently open (title, summary, original and translated text, historical readings)
• your chat questions

Anthropic states in its API terms that API requests are not used for model training. Details: anthropic.com/legal/privacy. If you do not use the chat, no data is transmitted to Anthropic.

4 · What the app does not do

• No tracking. No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• No data collection about you. The provider sees neither your bookmarks nor your chat questions.
• No cloud sync. Everything stays local.
• No advertising.
• No account, no login.
• No third-party fonts or CDNs. All resources are in the app bundle.

5 · Legal basis

Insofar as processing occurs at all (local storage to provide functionality), it is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision of the requested function). When using the optional AI research, transmission to Anthropic is based on your explicit action (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

6 · Your rights

You can delete your API key at any time in the app's settings sheet. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. Since the provider collects no personal data, requests for access, rectification, or erasure toward the provider are effectively moot; for data processed by Anthropic, their privacy terms apply.

7 · Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from children.

8 · Changes

This policy may be updated if new features require additional data flows. The current version is tied to the app release.
